It is mandated to carry out a detailed and comprehensive validation of the commercial vehicle fleet and to optimize further use. The management cell fleet also includes the finance department, customer ltl shipping service, service planning and maintenance service ADP.
The platoon movement is responsible for transporting personnel, furniture and effects as well as equipment. It deals with the movement of some 500 persons per year and 60 tons of material per month and holds approximately 1 000 removals of furniture and personal effects by year.
The platoon’s security MMS’s mandate is to minimize the number of losses in personnel and equipment due to injuries and damages sustained in accidents MMS. They also see the administration and coordination of various courses offered to staff both military and civil courts of conduct preventive techniques of reversing and driving a pneumatic brakes.
The section of postal services is responsible for the distribution of all mail received and shipped. Each year, the section covers about 65 000 pounds of mail.
The platoon support campaign provides general transport services in support of the activities of the School of Military Engineering Canadian Forces (CFSME). It coordinates, directs and provides transport of personnel and goods from CFSME, both in garrison in the area, during exercises in the country.
